Nope. Some great survivors there Steve.

Must have been a big seller in its day. "No Oxio" means what it sounds like I guess!  Grin

I agree with Kev, they don't have to be Fiat, just 131  Grin

The thing is whether the body is any good as that's arguably where most of the restoration costs are likely to be in any 131 of the period. The other thing is Steve that I have always thought that the Seat 131 (Spanish built?) would differ quite a lot from the Italian built cars and therefore in the UK at least, it would be difficult to source parts. Can you shed any light on this?

Nice selection above though, and still good value. I love the orange one  Cool

1936 - 1975 Franco ruled Spain
Draconian import duties made it almost impossible to buy a foriegn made car.
SEAT Sociedad Espa?ola de Autom?viles de Turismo (Spanish Touring Car Company, in English) founded 1950 on October 26, 1948 an alliance contract with the Italian car manufacturer Fiat formed a partnership with a foreign ally in order to bring to life Spain's major car manufacturer.

Body shells are identical to FIAT made models of same eras, it would not be a bad idea to buy a Seat and re shell a rusting Fiat. Much of the trim differs only in detail, major components of running gear etc are the same. Body panels are the same try this www site, I have posted before just search 131 under 'recambios' or use this link direct.
