Infractions
The infraction penalty points system has been designed to automate the management of members who break the Alfaowner community rules. It works in a similar way to points on a driving licence; when a specified amount of points have been issued, an automatic ban is triggered.
The infraction penalty points system is as follows;
10 points results in a 24 hour ban
20 points results in a 2 week ban
30 points results in a 3 month ban, which can be made permanent at the discretion of Alfaowner staff.
Infraction points are issued as follows;
Spammed advertisements 5 points no expiry
Personal insults directed at others 5 points no expiry
Inappropriate image(s) 5 points expires after 3 months
Inappropriate language/avoiding swear filter 5 points no expiry
Private or Pager messaging abuse 5 points no expiry
Abusing status updates 5 points expires after 3 months
Trolling - Baiting users to respond 5 points no expiry
Persistent rule breaking 10 points no expiry
Public dispute with AO staff decision 10 points no expiry
Once a ban has commenced, it will always run the full course.
