My friend had for sale Fiat 131 with engine from fiat 130. Any questions here or email: dyfer@o2.pl

By Fiat 130 do you mean a twincam from a Strada (Ritmo) Abarth 130 or a V6 from a Fiat 130?

Always liked the idea of a V6 in a 131, not so sure the standard axle would cope!

Not so much the axle but that engine is really heavy. I had one with intentions, as you do, of fitting it into the 131 but was put off by what that weight would do to the suspension. I didn't think sacrificing the handling was worth it to be honest.

Back in the late 80s when Italian Car Day was still in Syon park, I remember seeing a 131 with the 130 V6 fitted and I was very surprised at how well it looked. A few people were looking at it and most of them were mumbling "what a waste of a good engine"  Angry
