I’ve had new valve guides and new valves fitted to my TC head.
On reassembly the valve seat and inner valve spring support will not fit over the new stems by a very small margins.
Is it acceptable to file the seat and support out ever so slightly?

Problem solved.
It’s all In Guy Crofts excellent book.
I should have read it before I posted.
A little opening up of the seats is acceptable.
